Role Designation– associate consultant/senior associate consultant
Responsibilities- • Technically analyze the clients’ IT environment for achieving better efficiency using DevOps tools & methodologies traditional or Cloud environments.,• Prepare a gap analysis document and / or design a proposed DevOps Automation adoption roadmap (CI / CD / Cognitive) leveraging Infosys DevOps Platform,• Architect the DevOps tooling infrastructure and define the interface requirements among the various toolsets integrated with the Infosys DevOps Platform,• Provide mentorship to DevOps Engineers, project delivery and support in the areas of Build / Test / Deploy lifecycle activities and Application Performance Management,• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry and market trends to assist in project and/or solution offering development activities,• Enhance win ratio for the business by developing impactful campaigns covering the complete sales cycles,• Be an evangelist for Automation solutions through regular thought leadership activities (conferences/whitepapers/blogging),• Present value proposition and thought leadership at external and internal events,• Grow and develop the team through hiring, training and mentorin
Technical and Professional Requirements- • Technical DevOps design, CI/CD/CT development on one or more technologies (Java / Dot Net / SAP),• Experience with developing and implementing DevOps Automation Solutions; very strong scripting skills,• Practical exposure and work experience with DevOps tool chains like: GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.,• Configuration Management and Automation with different tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet etc.,• Experience with Monitoring / APM tools such as ELK, Prometheus, New Relic, Dynatrace, Nagios,• Experience with designing / optimizing cloud environments built on AWS / Azure etc. (nice to have),• Experience with machine learning technologies like Python ML Sci-kit, Tensorflow, Apache Spark ML etc. (nice to have),• High impact communication and presentation skills across multiple formats,• Strong desire to explore, evaluate and understand new technologies

Name change: The company changed its name to Infosys Technologies Private Limited in April 1992 and to Infosys Technologies Limited when it became a public limited company in June 1992. It was later renamed to Infosys Limited in June 2011.
Share listing: An initial public offer (IPO) in February 1993 with an offer price of ₹95 (equivalent to ₹510 or US$7.40 in 2018) per share against book value of ₹20 (equivalent to ₹110 or US$1.60 in 2018) per share was undersubscribed but it was “bailed out” by US investment bank Morgan Stanley, which picked up 13% of equity at the offer price. Its shares were listed in stock exchanges in June 1993 with a trading opening at ₹145 (equivalent to ₹790 or US$11 in 2018) per share.
Its shares were listed on NASDAQ in 1999 through ADR route. The share price surged to ₹8,100 (equivalent to ₹26,000 or US$380 in 2018) by 1999 making it the costliest share on the market at the time. At that time, Infosys was among the 20 biggest companies by market capitalization on the NASDAQ.
